OSP assessment learner response

1) Type up your feedback in  full  (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential). Total = 21 = C WWW - There are some really interesting ideas here that just need a little bit more clearity to push you into the top levels. Good use of theory and Q1 you decostruct the advert very well. EBI: - In Q1, you seem to confuse the different aspects of Reception theory and this holds you back. Revise this! In Q2, the second half of your essay lacks clarity and examples from the CSPs. Work on sharper topic sentences that focus on the question! 2) Read the  whole mark scheme for this assessment  carefully. Identify  five  specific aspects from Figure 1 (the Google Home advert) that you could have mentioned in your answer (e.g. selection of image, framing and focus, colour, text etc.) Positions the Google Home device as at the heart of aspirational family life. Go to  the Voice homepage  and answer the following: 1) What news website key conventions can you find on the Voice homepage? Definitely the key convention is the idea of the community so all the news on the page all connected to their culture.  2) How does the page design differ from Teen Vogue? I'd say it's a bit old fashioned and its not as 'modern' as the Teen Vogue and definitely targets a smaller audience. 3) What are some of the items in the top menu bar and what does this tell you about the content, values and ideologies of the Voice? News   Sport   Lifestyle   Entertainment   Faith   Opinion   Video It shows that the audience might be older then the majority of people on the internet, also more of a working class as there's no mention to university life or intrests connected to it. 4) Look at the news stories on The Voice homepage.
